For those college students planning to further their graduate education, UMass Graduate School could be the right choice.

UMass or the Univeristy of Massachusetts, is the five campus public University system of Massachusetts. The institutions within this system are UMass Amherst, UMass Boston, UMass Dartmouth, UMass Lowell, and the UMass Medical School. In 2010,Times World University Rankings ranked The University of Massachusetts 56th in the entire world. The state of Massachusetts is a state in the New England region of the USA. It is bordered by Rhode ISland and Connecticut to the south, New York to the west and Vermont and New Hampshire to the north.

The flagship University of the UMass system, and the biggest Univeristy in New England, is UMass Amherst, otherwide known as The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Umass Amherst offers 86 different undergraduate programs and 72 different graduate programs. More than 27,000 students are enrolled at UMass Amherst. The location of the University campus is mainly in the town of Amherst, but also partly in a nearby town called Hadley. US News and World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges placed UMass Amherst 94th on their list of "Best National Universities", and 42nd among public universities.

UMass Boston, also known as The Univeristy of Massachusetts Boston, is an urban public univeristy, and the 2nd largest of the UMass campuses. Umass Boston is located on Harbor Point in the city of Boston. There are eight colleges at UMass Boston: the College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Mathematics, College of Management, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Public and Community Service, College of Education and Human Development, John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies and Global Studies, and University College. UMass Boston offers both undergraduate and graduate courses in a wide variety of different subjects.

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth or UMass Dartmouth is based in North Dartmouth. North Dartmouth is located in the heart of the south coast region between New Bedford to the East and Fall River to the west. There are around 9,155 students enrolled at the university. Umass Dartmouth has an substantial graduate program at five different colleges, offering a wide variety of subjects to study. These colleges are the College of Arts and Sciences, Charlton College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Nursing and School of Marine Science & Technology.

The University of Massachusetts Lowell, also known as UMass Lowell or UML is the 3rd largest of the UMass system, with over 14,000 students enrolled. The University of Massachusetts Lowell offers both undergraduate and graduate study in a wide range of subjects.

UMMS or The University of Massachusetts Medical School is home to three schools. These are the School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the Graduate School of Nursing; a biomedical research enterprise; and a range of public service initiatives throughout the state. UMMS is positioned in Worcester Ma. Among the USA's 125 medical schools, UMMS is ranked 8th in primary care and 53rd in research.

Certainly there are plenty of things that might attract graduate students to Massachusetts and to UMass. The quantity of activities to do in Massachusetts, the lovely countryside, the commercial significance of the area and the excellent reputation of UMass are possibly a number of them. There are lots of additional factors, in addition to location to consider, when making the important decision of choosing a graduate school. It is very wise to investigation any college you might be considering very carefully. The range of study courses to choose from and financial factors are also important to take into consideration.
